How to Burn

  • Watch the video, it will really help!
  • Place the burner on a heat-safe, nonflammable surface outdoors
  • Use a lighter or match to ignite the refill puck in the center
  • Let the flame burn out and wait a minute before putting the lid back on
  • The repellent will smolder slowly, releasing a steady stream of smoke
  • Gently mix occasionally to increase smoke

Tip: Light it 10 to 15 minutes before you plan to be outside for best results.

Where to Burn

Southern Ground burners are designed for outdoor use only. Use them on patios, decks, campsites or anywhere else you need mosquito relief. For large areas, you can use multiple burners at once.

Avoid placing the burner in high-wind spots or near flammable materials.

How Long It Lasts

Each refill burns for approximately 90 minutes. Burn times may vary depending on wind and humidity.

Storage

Store unused refills in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. After use, allow the burner to cool completely before handling or storing.

Safety First

  • Keep away from children and pets
  • Do not leave burning or smoldering product unattended
  • Only burn in well-ventilated outdoor areas
  • Never place the burner on uneven or flammable surfaces
